Oh my goodness, there are weddings and then there are Indian weddings… weddings which go on for days with games, East Indian food (and more and more!), dancing and fun. Every time I’m invited to be part of these celebrations I’m reminded of how simple and small my wedding was and how uncolorfully I dress. So when my friend Roni, who was also attending the wedding, offered to hook me up with a turban I jumped right into my new red turban and oila, I wasn’t the least colorfully dressed person any more. Only problem was that I can’t really grow a beard and I had just shaved, which is sort of a no no when you’re wearing a turban, and now I know for my next Indian wedding. In fact, I even took it off that night (ouch my ears!) and put it in a safe place so I can wear it again! Now if I can just get Roni to take me shopping for the matching shirt
Oh, one more thing, I was going to go for a ride on my scooter with just my turban but my wife put a quick end to that idea… last time I’m going to tell her what I’m up to
Raj looked absolutely stunning and they were both so fun to photograph, it seemed like the weekend flew by. Ivory Restaurant catered at The Fairmont and the decor looked amazing…
There were so many pictures of this wedding I’m going to release a few each day – gotta check back to see the rest.
Thanks again for allowing me to be part of your celebration… it was an honour!
More pictures coming tomorrow!!!
