We just flew in from Vegas where Eve and I were attending the largest wedding and portrait photographers conference. Besides the awesome tradeshow full of fun toys to spend money on, my favorite part of these conventions has got to be the socializing with other photographers. The absolute photographic highlight of this years trip was getting together with the W-List photographers Manuel Sousa, Trevor Brucki, Jeremy Dueck, and Patty Boge for a photoshoot at Red Rock Canyon Nevada. Manny arranged for one of his brides to come and do a trash the dress photoshoot and she invited her friends and then a videographer and her friends joined us and pretty soon we needed a bus to hold everyone as we headed out to the canyon! A huge thanks to Manny for putting it all together. Here are just a few pix that I thought were pretty cool but my shortlist included 300 other images that could also have made this posting… might have to break this up into a few posts. Enjoy!

A few weeks ago we had the awesome privilege of photographing a most amazing destination in Liberia Costa Rica for Ryan and Sarah-Lynn. From the moment we (Eve and I) arrived everything came together perfectly. From the amazing friendliness of all the guests to the awesome resort with all the food drinks and disco , the incredible outings to the amazing seaside ceremony and day after shoot. It was just one of those perfect times when everything seems just perfect!

Packing up and heading to Vegas for the largest wedding and portrait convention. Tons of great speakers, a trade show full of fun new gadgets and enough inspiration to last me all year. This year Trevor, Manny, Patty, Jeremy and a few other photographers are planning a shoot in Red Rock Canyon with a few brides and I can’t wait – I think its going to be amazing!! Best part of these conventions though has got to be hanging out with friends at the industry parties… nothing like doing it Vegas style! Stay posted for images from our shoot!

I love the name you gave to your baby… Rielle… gorgeous, and what a sweet little girl. Congratulations!! It was so good to see you and hang out the other day during the session while we waited for your angel to fall asleep… which she never did Guess she was waiting for her car seat and a cozy ride home instead! Oh well, the images were awesome and I loved the props you brought. Nice touch with the jersey and goalie pads… here comes the next little hockey player!
